I bought a set of white-faced gauges for my Ranger and I am having some trouble. I got the dash apart just fine, but I do not know how to remove the needles from the speedometer, tach., and the other gauges. If anyone knows of a site that illustrates that process, or if someone could tell me, it would be much appreciated.

Thanks

they should be just pressed on. if ya can't get your finger nails under them (nails not long enough) try a small flat blade screw driver and gently pry up on them, they "should" just pop off.

Sometimes sliding a fork under the needle and prying will get the needle off. Try it with a plastic one first as you do not want to scratch the face.

Thanks again. I got them off using the screwdriver method. They were stubborn, but they came off. Now, I just have the task of re-calibrating them to origional markings.

Were they just the sticker ones? When I did mine, I just stretched the sticker over the needle, used my gf's blow dryer to warm it up.....

I think that they are. I haven't gotten them in the mail yet.
