Will a 10si or 12SI DELCO ALTERNATOR fit on a 87 Mazda B2600 4x4, as I was reading they will fit on older Ford 4x4's in the 80's, and most other non GM 4x4's, too?

That is why I was wondering if they might also fit on a 87 Mazda B2600 4x4, too.

If they won't fit, what other years and models of alternators will fit on a 87 Mazda B2600 4x4?

I honestly don't know, as that year of Mazda is not a ford product..it is made by Mitsubishi. Ford started making the B series for Mazda in 94.

i assume your wanting more power for your accessories? the problem with that style alternator is the drive system(single v-belt) anytime you upgrade past 75amps the belt can not provide enough traction and it slips. some guy wind up changing over to the serpentine belt system if you are wanting more power out of your charging system i recommend these guys:http://www.excessiveamperage.com/ they will know what the best path for you is, they do everything from high amp rewinds to full conversions
