hi im new to the ranger world by accident. my buddy had his nephew overheat the 1996 2.3 and i pulled it apart and the head was shot! i found a 1993 complete engine for $ 275.00 and found there was the difference in the ignition system. i am handy and can make changes as to removing my intake and such but the other engine has a somewhat difference???? what to do next? i know the crank sensors are in different locations but but?? im lost. did i do wrong? any help would make my day!!
