I found a truck down south from me, maybe 30 or 40 miles. Its a 1991 Ford Ranger XLT 4x4!

The radio was pulled and the fuel pump is shot but its not a bad deal for $200! Looks to be lifted, I emailed about it, might call about it tomorrow if no response is given. The ad was up about a month ago, so if its still for sale, I am going to grab it at the end of the month :icon_bounceblue:

Otherwise I have another ranger or two going for $800 and the other for $700, those are still available, getting images soon, will post when I get them!
 
That 91 would probably be the best option you have come up with yet. If no radio and a bad fuel pump are it's biggest problems.... well we can have you on the road in a day.

I'm having it shipped in set rate boxes through the usps. One part at a time except for the fuel pump (big savings on money there)....... well worth it. Should be an estimated 11,000 all said and done, but at least I got the great deal instead of a northerner!!!

I considered the second to last as a project for my engine and tranny to be dropped into. =P

Beware, I am lookin to buy a truck from anyone willing to sell me a decent one thats close enough, considering I get this job at McDonalds, within 2 months. So please tell me about any good deals or trades anyone has for a Ranger!!! (no 4cyl please, prefer 4wd).

I made an email out to the one that is a farm truck, with the smashed front end, its the same year and model as mine, and drive, so its a good base truck

I can tear the needed parts off my truck and fix this one, and still have the other truck for the farm. =) works both ways!

Its a 1984 Ford Ranger, needs a grill, headlight, tires, turn signal, and a new passenger fender.
All those things are good on my truck, so replacement work cost me a dime =).

For 400 for a working truck..... worth it! I hope they still have it, I will be seeing about having it held for a month or two. I can break him a deal of $450 or $500 if he can hold it. =D only fair, I am gonna ask for images of the frame, rust spots, and interior. The original mirrors are missing, will ask him about that, also about getting some clear images of the front, rear, bottom, sides, and the bed. Also, the fender wells.

Too bad you weren't on here last year. I junked a 1988 Ranger with a good frame for 50 bucks.
