Ok...so begins the story of the mystery push bar. I found an ad on Kijiji for a pushbar for rangers/exlorer. In Calgary (In in Saskatchewan) so I pick it up on a trip out there...and come home...it doesn't fit my 96 ranger! (3rd gen ranger for sure outta the picture...93-present? The front end shape didn't change much did it?) The part that protects the headlights is sloped back too far...it hits the headlights before the bumper part hits the bumper. So I call up the guy who sold me it...Oops...it came off a 99 Explorer...
...but I'm partially to blame. I should've checked it out more. So I re-list it on Kijiji...a guy with a 99 explorer buys it...whoop! Good to go...emails me...doesn't fit his either...says it sticks out past too far...but we lined it up and it appeared to fit (he had a dinky lil brush guard already so we couldn't fully fit it before he bought it)...anyways...I think it should fit his. Anyone have an explorer pushbar (99) that can give me the specs?
P.S. A guy emailed me off the kijiji ad and he said it looked like it should fit...02-03 ..if I recall correctly
P.P.S...from widest point to widest point its...6ft I believe, I measured it to be 72 inches I think...
