1990 slave cylinder

theres alot of play where rod goes down, i put a hose clamp around starte swt. and cyld. house works good for awhile [i can hear the plunger noise then after awhile and tightnes itstops working wiggle it it work ] PLEASE HELP THANKS

I believe you have the m5od. I think you are talking about you clutch master cylinder, not the slave cylinder?

Bad master cylinder.
Least that is my best guess at deciphering the problem from that hot mess of text
