What are these people doing?


They are the director of the Frankfurt Zoo capturing a baby panda bear that got loose in the cargo hold. My flight was delayed about 2 hours and I missed my connecting flight home. I finally got home 5 hours late, but have a good travel story anyway.

I rented a Peugot 207cc. Why oh Why don't they have more turbo-charged, direct injection diesels in the US? I was cruising the autobahns at 160 kph and getting 49 mpg.

Glad to be back though. I needed my TRS fix.
 
The guys with the blaze-orange vests were firemen - they had a whole fire truck and the peeps there too. It was hilarious.
 
Dude, I love TDI diesels. If I found a TDI jetta at the right price you can bet it would be in the drive ASAP.
 
simple. they knew u were coming. they were gettin ready.
 
I rented a 750cc Fiat Panda one time when I lived in Paris. That might have gotten 100mpg for all I know. But it was so slow its shadow got there before we did. We had to stop when it got dark because the electric bug zappers built over the headlights weren't working.
