Electrical Connector On Top of Differential?

What is the electrical item that the wires are plugging into on the top of my rear differential? Is this a temperatur guage? My Titan has an e-locker there but nothing else

If it's a ranger, it's for the rear ABS. Titan... Who knows... This is a ranger sight, eh??? (I'm from Canada, get over it.) :D
