I've got an 89 ranger and my grills busted. I want to replace it with an STX grille because I like how it looks but don't know if it will bolt right up. The stock grill has two mounting screws in the bottom corners that the STX doesn't have, so I'm not even sure how it completely bolts up. Any input on how the STX grill bolts up or if it will work would be appreciated. Thanks

This grill?

It's a direct bolt in to replace the regular Ranger grill.

It's from a 93-97 4x4 Ranger. It's not exactly a direct bolt on though. I have driving lights in it now which makes it look better. They are around $15 from www.certifit.com

The STX grill is the same as the explorer grill which will also bolt right in!

I should clarify for '89-'92 Rangers it does, Using first gen Explorer grill.
The Explorer grill is usually a chrome version of the STX grill, unless you find a blacked out Explorer Sport.

The Explorer sport with it's black (not chromed) grille and headlight bezels is the same
as the ame parts used on the '89-92 STX trucks.

BTW, the '91-94 Explorer limited bumper cover looks pretty slick when put
onto a Ranger

For the fact that anyone new could surf in, it could be new to them.
I'm being helpful.
