98 Ranger Engine and Trans swap

Hi,

I'm new here and was wondering what engine an trans swap would work for a 1998 Ranger 2x4 I am currently putting a 49 Ford F2 Frond clip and cab on it....

I want to personally plan on going with a Supercharged 3.8 in my 94 But its still way work in progress, so far in progress that i have not even started yet.
