um... $40 bucks a plug is dirt cheap for glows.
A mitsu dealer might be able to get them, I know one of those old diesels was a mitsu engine and they can still get some of the parts (but you have to know what other vehicle is using the engine), but it might have been the 2.3, not the 2.2.
Did that make sense?

Ford barely carried parts for those engines when they were new.
The 2.3L Mitsu turbo diesel uses different gp's than the 2.2L Mazda/Perkins diesel, the Mazda B2200 shares the same gp's with the Ranger 2.2L, i just found Motorcraft ZD2's on Amazon for $28 but nothing cheaper as of yet.
Obsolete.
Isn't that the truth lol.
