Beautiful bird.
I was floating down the Russian River (northern Ca.) one summer day with a friend in a Zodiac when a Bald Eagle flew over head (10 feet) with a fish in it's talons and I had no camera.
Yesterday I was wheelin in the snow in the Nevada Sierra's when I came across a Red Tailed Hawk flying away from me on the trail with a big field mouse in it's talons, no time for a pic.

The AMERICAN BALD EAGLE is my favorite animal, I have statues and posters of them all over my bedroom. Several books about them as well. Even have the head (side shot) of one tattooed on my right arm. I would love to have that last photo as the wallpaper on my computer!
