FYI: 2010 Ranger Recall


Damn, I knew the new disc brakes were too good to be true:D

Oh well, doesn't seem like to many of them are affected.
 
those new rear disks do look pretty sick though... not surprised that there is a small issue with a change like that though...
 
I just got my letter in the mail today saying my truck has to go in for that recall. Should be fun. Thanks for the heads up though.
 
The guy that wrote the article should do some research.....

"The last major Ford Ranger redesign ocurred in 1993"

I don't know about you guys but I would call the change to IFS a major redesign.

yea that wasn't even that big of a design change changed the front end and some body lines
 
Sounds almost like a close repeat of the Freestyle rear brake issue from a few years ago.
 
In the 17 years that followed, Ford has done next to nothing to their neglected little pickup, yet we still have a recall notice for the 2010 model year.
