I am trying to get at the hoses to replace them on my steering box from the pump and i am trying to remove the powersteering bracket with the pump on it so i will not have to pull the pulley off the pump to get the pump out.

I have removed the 2 -13 mm and the 2 -mm bolts that bolt the bracket to the block but it seems there is one more holding it on and i have looked and felt all over and can not locate the fifth bolt that must be securing it to the block yet.

Anybody removed one lately that they could point to where this mystery bolt might be located on the powersteering bracket,

All help is greatly appreciated.

I recently tried to do that. I had to replace the low pressure side hose and it was a pain in the .... So I tried to remove the bracket and had the same problem as you. I don't remeber how many bolts there were but I do remeber a bolt at the bottom of the bracket bolted to the block. I could not get any wrench or socket on it. It seemed to me I would have to pull the engine out a good 6 inches to remove that bolt. So I just removed the powersteering pump it self and that gave me enough clearance to replace that hose. it was still a pain to screw back in the steering column.

I gave up and just replaced it with the pump and bracket still attached. Was not bad once you yanked the dust shield that covers the lines going into the steering box back towards the the firewall.

But still a major dirty pain in the ass, I know all you guys will hate me for this but Fords suck.I have worked on a lot of cars but Fords have them beat hands down for in accessibility.
