No low range

My electric transfer case is not dropping into low range.... Any ideas on what the problem might be before I tear into it?

my low range is picky sometimes, I have to be in neutral, with e brake on.

If you have a manual transmission, you need to be stopped, in neutral. You then need to push the clutch to the floor and hold the brake. Then you can click it over to low range. Kind of a pain, but its for the safety of your driveline.

I'm with the first two guys. I don't think the 90 was as picky as the later ones, but it's still picky. Try being in neutral, stopped, with the brake set. If it still won't go, might be time to think about a new switch.
