Did I spoil my ranger with premium gas?

For some reason this turd truck likes to detonate up hills with regular gas. I usually like putting premium fuel in because I can tell a slight performance increase... but like I said when Im low on dough the regular fuel makes it run like crap... but It seems to get better mileage on regular. Let me know if anyone can make sense of this

You are wasting money. Premium will not change a thing, unless your truck is tuned specifically for the stuff. Pick up some Sea-Foam and a new fuel filter and you will be good to go. Also, try to fill up with Shell as much as possible. They use the higher quality fuel blends, and you will notice a difference.
