86 and 88 Wiring Harness Differences

I am looking to put a EEC-IV harness from a 1988 Ranger into my 1986 Ranger. Does anyone know if there are any differences or if this will fit exactly. The junkyard was of no help (as usual).

strike this post....i just realized you said "98"....i can't comment on that...

yeah i fixed that haha. it was supposed to read "1988"
