Rouge Valley Meet and Greet

I was thinking of setting up a meet and greet in early June. We would meet up at the lower staging area at John's Peak, maybe shoot the breeze for a little while and get to know each other, then go hit up the trails. Me and my friends know some of the best really gnar ones so we can have a good time.
So if you would be game for somthing like this post on the thread of when you are available and we can try to pic a date.

Um idk I dont know who that is but ive seen a few rbvs including a ranger on boggers, a sick b2 on 33's and a really cool early 90's expo on 32's or 33's.
BTW my friend jared might come in his gmc so we will have a winch up there.

hey there...just wanted to chime in with a little support....

I DO live in the area...and am aware of John's peak....mainly years ago when i used to moto cross all over the trails....

I actually took my 08 JK up there for a few trails a cple years ago....but at this time..Not really up for running my fairly street equipped b2 on the trails...

I know I know....but i can still wish you well...I'm sure you'll have fun....

8am would be the earliest, unless we want to do breakfast somewhere (cheap) first. Its been 15 yrs since Ive been up there riding, so is it still the road going by the resevoir?

I was thinking around 10-12 depending on when people could make it. Yes to get up there you head up resivor road and theres lotsa sweet trails if you know where to go.

how many of us are going and how crazy are the trails? Ive got 30% tread left on mud terrains and a wore out front end, would hate to brake anything. but I do have a new home/shop made front bumper.

Im pretty much stock right now but by then hopefully I will have new tires, so we wont be on ultra gnar trails but we still have fun. Right now im not totally sure how many people are confirmed coming but i can get back to you in a few days.

sounds good. Do we need any off road permits or such. I thought the mountain belonged to MRA and they wanted there cut for use.

I dont think you need ohv liscenses or anything, ive been up there tons of times with out them. Also it might be better if we went around 11 because I might have work at 4.
