grrr hekp with dvd-rw drive

so the dvd-rw drive on my laptop will reconise and play dvds, cd's, and burnt cd's and dvds, im trying to burn a cd-r disk and th dvd-rw drive dont reconise th cd-r's

Could be your burning software has a bug and needs reinstalled.

try a different brand of cd-r, some off brand cd-r's dont always work well. are you using the default windows cd writer? or are u burning in an .ISO image or copying a cd/dvd?

Windows media player can be REAL bitchy about media.

Like insisting on you using specifically labeled "AUDIO" CD-R media....

get itunes, i always used that and never had a problem

Probably some bad CD-R. I had to ditch a whole stack of 'em before.

i think its the burner in the laptop cuz the cdrs work in the other two computers
