Ok, the Banner has been handed off to me. It was nice meeting Copperhead, I wish we had more time. We should setup an Arkansas-TN get together sometime. Make it a yearly thing. One year the Arkies come to TN for the trail parks, the next year the TN folks come to arkansas for some of our trails (well we really only have 1 park, but it's great).

Well, that is if you can wade through all the radar traps on I-40, wow I haven't seen so many cops since the grand opening of Little Rocks first Krispy Kreme... I keed... I keed...

Nice! The Beertinis sounds like a fun game, however, I'm concerned about it spoiling my beer!

I first had them in college, one of the local pubs put olives in the draft beers. It's actually VERY good, in fact you find yourself drinking faster just to get that salty olive at the bottom LOL. You should try it some time, my wife turned her nose up to it the first time I suggested it to her, now she buys olives of all different sizes to see what she likes best. I think we have both agreed that three of the small ones work best. Try it, you'll like it :icon_thumby:

Looking at the map, it looks like it's gonna die at New Mexico or Nevada. Not many folks between there. It's gonna take a BIG push to get it past those spots.

Jim, once it hits the West Coast, is there any reason it can't continue in other directions? There are a LOT of folks that were interested but it just wasn't the right time for them?

I drove down and although I wasn't in the Ranger (it's been reee-tired with no plates or insurance) I was in the 77 Comet that does have one of the Ranger's previous 4 engines in it.............the infamous 331 Six Pack :icon_thumby: It needed a workout anyway. As far as updates on the banner, that is my (and Photobucket's) fault. It has been having issues again loading my pics. But wait no more! This is the last couple roundups from the Houston area (totally thought we were gonna have a better turnout)...


Met up with Gary off of I-45, then proceeded down to Galveston so the TRS Banner could touch saltwater again. :headbang:

Loved his "fullsize" roof running lights, as well as the grill he painted. His grouchy cattledog on the other hand, was a trip.
