Yo,
This is kinda weird. I am on the map twice, neither are in green, but on the list column on the left I am in green. Thanks!
There's a good reason for that......I'm a MORON....It took me a year to realize that there's "name overflow"....and there are 2 pages to the TRS Map.....
so ...... I been double-marking some of you guys on BOTH map pages...guhhh-hukkkk!!

COMPLETED:
I'm calling the banner home.
The goal was to see if we could hand carry the banner from the Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific Ocean. The banner would be dipped in both oceans and photographed and signed along its journey.
In 14-months, the banner managed to zig-zag across the U.S. starting at the Atlantic and ending at the Pacific, and even got dipped in to the Gulf of Mexico.
I had asked Sunk to get the banner and ship it back. My only regret was that the banner had passed by Chance's grave site, and I knew Chance would have wanted to be involved, so Sunk volunteered to take it back up there, find Chances gravesite, and get a photo.
I don't believe and other online community has been able to accomplish such an incredible task as this.
From here, I want to encase the banner in a frame that will be free standing and preserve the banner. I'll be able to take it places and put it on display for all to see. I plan to put some photos and information in with it.
I decided to not let the banner free roam from here so that it's preserved with just the signatures of those who had contact with it along its way, since it's that incredible accomplishment we're preserving.
I need to make a list of the members who actually moved it. It would also be cool to have a map showing the actual route it took.
It's definitely been an amazing adventure. I think it would be pretty cool to start a new adventure in the spring of 2012. What kind? I don't know. It would be cool if we had enough members to go around the world. Maybe if anything, since we went across the US from the east coast to the west coast, we could try something like going from Alaska to Key West, Florida. What do you think?

I like it....a lot.....Start in Alaska & let it work down to weezl.....and his friends....how about down to TEXMEX---he wanted to sign it....
JIM....if you give special exceptions to make sure the Banner gets to Canada friends.....RSH....and others.....that would be great....
and let it work it's way ti
Florida
BUT.....EVVVVRYBODY HAS TO AGREE THAT THEY WON'T GOOF AROUND WHEN THEY GET THE BANNER...THEY GOTTA DEFINATELY KEEP IT MOVING!!!!!
How bout starting it January 1st.....a LOT of members will be traveling then...(you could give special shipping exceptions to keep it from getting snowed in!!!)

I know the Canada guys want it. It's one of the reasons I thought of sending it between Alaska and Florida.
I need to make a new banner.

Kinda figured we would get hosed the way it was looking. We had aircraft, pilots, vehicles, passports ect... waiting for the mission to move this thing 1000's of miles across one of the most brutal places on earth wether it was 70 above or below zero and do it within 47 1/2 hours. Apoligies to the Alaska members and long haul Canadian members I PM'ed the basic plan to.:lame:

this thing HAS to get to alaska. fed ex it atleast one way. get it to weezl, he can get the guys in the area, then get it to slothsauce in edmonton along with one of our mods (sorry forget the name) and slothsauce will be driving from edmonton to ontario in june. tons of time to get it to alaska and back and the surrounding area. then through manitoba, Saskatchewan, and albert (backwards) and to ontario. then send it south to buffalo, through upstate NY, to PA so adsm08 can sign it and then back over to jim in ohio. add anyone on along the way too.
