Skiboarder has the banner, we're going to do a Utah meet and sign dealio here in the next week, and then it is off to....Nevada? Idaho? Arizona? Oregon? Speak up people and we'll get the banner to ya!

one of our utah trs clan guys (mojavesmostwanted) goes to wendover what seems like every other weekend (he has family there). that might be a good way of getting it to nevada :dunno: there are at least 7 of us active members that i know of around here that need to sign it before it leaves the state

Mountainmike will be bringing it into Alaska from Canada and we will be using small aircraft to get it to the interior Fairbanks folks and back here to Anchorage. This thing stalls out at every turn and you guys have interstate hiways man c'mon.

i am going to be in Tacoma, over the weekend of the 14th of may, for the rammstein concert... so i can pick up the banner from anyone in the tacoma/seattle area, and bring it back to vancouver bc canada, then to calgary, however this would require co-ordination with people in tacoma/seattle, AND vancouver, simultaneously... which could be difficult... however, worst case scenario, i could transport from tacoma to vancouver and drop it off with someone there, who then can bring it into alberta...

it's gotta hit sasquatch_ryda, mountainmike, and gwaii(even though he hasn't posted in this thread, i don't think)

and the easiest way i see that happening is from vanoucver, through the okanagan, to calgary (and/or kelowna/cranbrook) then up to calgary, there's 3? of us in calgary area, though only me and 1 other i think has posted in here... hit red deer, then edmonton (4 hour drive total) then from edmonton, it can jump back west through terrace and such, and up to alaska, then to the yukon for MM, from there probably back south to edmonton, though that's a long leg... and probably back down to the northern states, montana, probably, to head east towards ontario, because there isn't any members between calgary, and sudbury, in canada

Well, it's in Utah, and needs to hit the north western states (Washington, Oregon, Idaho...

We won't know the route till it happens, however, in Canada, from my location, east is about 3000km of I remember correctly, to the next member, and I'm sure as hell not driving that,

easiest way I can see (might wanna hit up a map for this) is from washington, go to Vancouver bc Canada, east through the okanagan bc, into Calgary (and okotoks, where master hec0 is, which is like 20 min from me) north through red deer to Edmonton, then back west to terrace bc, making a few stops along the way, and HOPEFULLY Haida gwaii to visit Tom (gwaii) north from there to the yukon to mountain mike, then west again into Alaska, being it's a hard core trip from there to anywhere else, possibly someone takes an Alaskan cruise to Honduras, to visit our egg farming friend, then back into the states somewhere... It has to hit eastern Canada/states, but it's not going to happen IN Canada, based on the map...

i bought my tickets to Rammstein in Tacoma WA for May 15th 2011... just sayin... if you guys want to get to work, you've got 3 weeks before i can move it 780 miles one way... (nearly 1600 miles round trip) get crackin and i'm happy to do it, but there will be about a 2 day window on which i can pick it up, no ifs ands or buts!

additionally to anyone in vancouver british columbia (canada) kamloops, kelowna, the okanagan or anywhere else between vancouver and calgary, i will GLADLY stop in along the way between, if i end up driving...

unfortunately however, i will NOT be able to stop in the US, between tacoma and the border, as i will be with a large group of people who will be hungover and wanting to go home... so the options for people in washington, if i pick it up will be a) sign it before the weekend of the 15th, as i will probably be getting into tacoma on the 14th? and won't have much time down there, or b) meet me in canada to sign it (passport required) as i will probably atleast spend a day or two in the vancouver area, where my family is...

no steps necessary.....check out the TRS Banner Map....it takes about 30 seconds to fully appear on the monitor with member's locations......check Red Deer....you're on the map now !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As far as participating....just post on this thread---when/where/you can be available to meet or transport the Banner...

the problem is the banner is in a state with memebers several hours away and it makes it diffacult for two people in two diferent states more then 200 miles apart to make time on the same day to go and exchange the banner.

Maybe Jim O. could amend the rules and allow the Banner to be left at a certain agreed location in a certain agreed city so the next guy in line could pick it up.....like at a town hall information desk/etc.

as in weezle's case......that way he could pick it up and get some miles on it....
