Just wanted to know what they were..Pacesetter or Hedmans..Does anyone have any headers or know pros and cons of some brands...

Couple months this is the next upgrade..

Also i read about the different headers from JEGS and Summit and 4wheel parts...What the hell is up with the EGR valve and gettin headers??

And do the headers come with the Y-pipe or do i have to but that and have a mech weld her up??

JBA headers are gonna be the best you can get. All headers available for RBVs come with a new y-pipe. If you've got an EGR valve..then you need headers made for a truck with an EGR valve.

a gasoline powered internal combustion engine is garbage in garbage out. The only gains you will get from headers and a stock gas engine is from a tri-y header (tri-y is a style, not a brand) and even then the gains will be minuscule and not worth the money unless you tune the intake to match. Infact with the wrong headers you will change your power curve in the wrong direction for a truck. When I put the headers and the dual exhaust on the Suburban it moved the peak torque up a couple hundred RPMs and robbed me of low end grunt, but mine are not tri-y's. you can build an EGR port off the y-pipe if you can't find headers set up for it.
