Hey everybody! Once again i want to thank everyone for always solving my problems for me
Anyway, i swapped in an 8.8 axle a couple of days ago with 4.10 gears. My front end still has the 3.73's so i took out the front drive shaft just because i thought it seemed like a good idea. Now when the truck is in 2wd the transfer case makes an odd noise, it sounds like i'm driving on a wet road, kind of a hiss. When i kick it over to 4x4 hi the noise goes away as soon as the 4x4 light comes on.
Is the front of my BW1354 transfer case suppose to be turing when the rear is?
This is not a hub issue or front end or anything like that.
I have the front axle with the 4.10 gears to match the rear but i don't have time to get that in just yet.
