Well, finally after a year of driving unreliable(cherokee), unsafe(grand Cherokee), and incapable(mazda Protege) vehicles, I am back in a ranger. A year ago in march I totalled my 97 2wd 2.3 5 speed ranger, as some of you may remember.
Yesterday morning I bought a 97 2wd 2.3 5 speed ranger! He wanted 2500, so i test drove it, told him about the spongy clutch and bad alignment, and offered 1600. he took the deal! I checked the fluid later and found it a bit low, added some and the clutch feels new. only difference is the flareside and the goofy shift knob. I love it already. Ive got it back! the year without was tough, and boring, but I'm back and happy to be.
