I just did a major replacement of the cooling system components - hoses, water pump, HCV, etc.
I put in the Prestone extended life coolant and all was well for about three weeks. I noticed a few days ago a wet spot on the driveway...it was coolant coming from the transmission cooler connections as they protrude from the plastic radiator tank. Apparently, there is a gasket or O-ring that doesn't like the new type of coolant and the seal is leaking very slightly.
Can these be repaired easily or do I need a new radiator?

Maybe, IF it's just O-rings. If the tank itself is damaged, you won't fix it. It's not worth replacing tanks when whole brand new radiators cost in the low $100s.

And next time use the correct coolant. You can replace it with propylene glycol (also green stuff) if you're concerned about small animals and small children.

The tank looks OK. Checked it yesterday and the connections were dry. Regardless, I want to fix or replace while the weather is still cool here in Louisiana.
MAKG, you drive an Exploder? It must be pretty dangerous!
