Got my CB setup fully installed yesterday. I'm running a Midland 1001Z radio, with a Cobra mic. I had a small magnetic antenna (2ft) on the top of the roof before, but I noticed it was starting to rub the paint, and that wasn't going to fly. So I went out and bought a Firestik and a hood/fender-mount (Mount is Model Number SS-174 I believe, by Firestik) and went to town with it. When I was trying to find a place to mount the radio I wasn't sure where I should do it, didn't want to drill into the floor, so I tried it on the other side of that console, works perfect.
I still need to get it tuned, but that should happen this week hopefully.
