found on craigs list 4 15x8 rims and 5x4.5 don't know back spacing just wanted to see if they would work on my truck.Iam going to put 265/75/15
and the stock rims are 15x7.I'am going to torq the torsion bars but thats going to be it.will they rub? Thanks for the info.Brian

I have 31x10.50R15 on 15x8 rims on my Ranger and it sits fine, 265-76R15 is your stock tire size which is very similar in size to a 31x10.50. Backspacing will be important on your truck. Mine is 3.25 and works great. No rubbing before the torsion bar crank. Check out my truck to see some more pics.

Yeah It should work just fine... I run the same combo.. Actually I run 31x10.50R15's on 15x8 rims in the summer and 265/75R15's on the stock 15x7's in the winter... so either rim would probably work just fine.

thanks for the info but my stock tires are 235/75/15 and didn't know if the 265/75/15 would rub but i'm still going to torque the bars.

Really? 235/75? I thought that was only the stock size on the 2WD. Maybe it has something to do with the off-road package. Either way my truck came with 265/75 on the stock 15x7's. And 31x10.50 is only a tiny bit bigger than a 265/75R15.

Actually the stock size for 98+ 4x4 rangers I believe is 225/70R15's but with the off road package they would come stock with 265's I bet, or the FX4's.

And the 265 is actually closer to 31" them most 31's because with metric it seems they are more exact then 31's which usually turn out to be about 30.5 or so.

265's won't rub, infact cranking the T bar would probably allow enough room for 33's.

NOt the best but heres mine with 225/75R15's

And then here it is with 31's (no T bar crank)

There is plenty of room for 31's with no modifications...
