so I warmed my truck up one afternoon and then pulled it up to the door of my shop. . .when i let off the clutch to leave it died.
I tried to start it and it wouldnt start again.
here are the symtoms. . . .
great battery power
starter turns engine very well
engine has spark on all cylinders
all fuses good
etc.
the thing that makes me wonder is that this happened about 1.5 miles after i got a new tank of gas (mid grade).
I thought it was bad gas so i changed the fuel filter and drained the line to the engine. . .
I tried to power the fuel pump on and it wont cycle on (or its dead.) The relay seems okay (i swapped it with the foglights which work fine) and i have voltage at the fuse.
Is there a switch that cuts off the fuel pump? An inertia switch?
Also, can i check voltage to the pump closer to it without dropping the tank that would be a pain since it is in my driveway now.
anyhelp would be awesome
Thanks
