it is an inlet!!! i've been in the process of updating my B2. it was build well, but over the years it just needed to be a bit more up-to-date-ness. it had a circluar hole with some ghetto round hose thing on it, so i had to improvise. used some thin sheet metal. and made my template outta cardboard. then cut and bend it using a rubber mallet, c clamps, and some scrap strap metal to keep the bends straight. then drilled and pop riveted it on.
under the hood i just used the stock air box and took the top off if i remember right. gonna build a custom box with a k and n filter soon.
just make sure ur material is thick enough that the wind doesn't let it vibrate like mine, it will end up cracking!

Sorry, I meant inlet as in not a scoop, nothing showing above the hood line, a inlet like on the old 69 charger hood

ohhh nice. i like the idea. and offset would look cool. maybe a bit different shape somehow tho. keep us updated!
