Hi, I couldn't locate a forum that I thought appropriate so I am posting this in the general discussions area. I have a 2003 4x4 Ranger. The fog lights are shot and the valance itself is pretty dinged up. On eBay there are lots of valance, fog light, bumper combo's. They are pretty expensive with shipping and I don't need a new bumper. I also could just ditch the fog lights. All I want is the valance itself. There are valance's listed as 2wd without the fog light holes that are pretty cheap. Would they fit my 4x4? I don't have any tow hooks because I did a bodylift. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

it would fit if u make it fit, but it wont look ok, because your bumper is designed for the 4x4 valance. the corners are different.

the corners of the valance go up to match the fender flares
Lower Valance question

this one doesnt go up on the corners.

your best shot would be a new 4x4 valance and try to find some covers for the holes

I bought a valance on eBay for $60 shipped. It looks virtually identical to the factory part. I bought a pair of factory fog lights for $75. But I still have a pretty big problem. Ford doesn't make the clips that attach to the valance corners and then clip into the bumper. Mine were either shot or missing. Any suggestions?

Look up autosdepot on Ebay. Just before winter started here I bought a brand new lower valance with fog light holes and I bought 2 brand new fog lights for about $160.00 with shipping from it all. It was packed so good when it arrived. They did great job on that!! I still have not got it installed. I have been hurting so bad lately (disabled vet) and now that it is warmer here I can get out in the garage and get the darn this mounted. My 99 Ranger did not have the fog light valance and I wanted one for awhile and I went ahead and bought the set up. I need to run wires to the fog lamps but I can do that.

bmacsys! If you need info where to get a lower valance for your 2003 truck let me know. I get my parts for my 2003 ranger 2x4 and 4x4 cheap. Brand new with cheaper or no shipping cost at all. Let me know.:icon_cheers:

Straycat! I'm sorry that you bought your lower valance for $160.00. I could've saved you more money if I knew this forum a long time ago.

mine came with the clips, but it kept popping off. so i just drilled and riveted the damn thing LOL
i did it on top of it and painted em black so its not noticeable
heres an old pic to get the idea
