I am going to look at some spare parts from an '89 Bronc II a guy has
on CL. Wheels, tranny, transfer case, drivers door, and a safari rack.
Specifically, interested in the door, rack, and wheels. I did a quick
search on the site, and couldn't really find a definitive answer.
Mine is an '84, and need to know if the door will work, and if not,
will the window guts fit? My regulator is shot as well as the weather
stripping, thought if I could score it for cheap, why not...
thanks as always guys, have a good Easter.

Doors from 83-92 will fit. The biggest structural difference is that the 2nd gens (89-92) have different push pin holes, so the door will bolt on, but your old panel won't work.

When I was looking for new regulators to give my truck power doors all of them were listing as fitting 83-92, so I'm guessing his regulator and glass will fit.

Weather strip is not good to re-use, but it is cheap. I think you can get a 15' roll of the stuff for $10 at AZ or Advance.

Thanks for the quick reply adsm08, that helps. I wasn't planning on cobbing the
weatherstripping, was hoping replacement door would swap and stripping was
good on the replacement door. Am intrigued by the safari rack, if it comes
cheap enough might go ahead and get it, am a bit hesitant on drilling
holes in my roof !
