I have an electric shift transfer case, what is involved in converting to a stick or two or three? I know in an NP205 you can do a 3 stick and lock it in front wheel drive only high or low.
you prolly have a BW1354E. with the NP doublers it is usually a 203/205 double. I havent heard of Borg Warner doublers. but the doublers allow you to lock it in either front or rear letting you do front digs and such. Someone else can prolly shed a bit more light on it. have fun if that is really what you want to do
Actually with the 205 you can only do twin stick...because there are only two shift rails. There are a bunch of other t-cases that you can twin stick but none of them will bolt up to your transmission. Like Totalled said you can't twin stick any of the BW cases. Converting from electric shift is as simple as replacing the electric t-case with a manual one and adding the shifter linkage through the floor.
Doublers do not give you front dig BTW, they just reduce your drive ratio.
The 1354 did come in manual, and is a very popular case, making it somewhat difficult to get one, and up on the price range as well...converting the E case to manual can be done, but its work and you need parts from a manual case to do it...
