Can i drive my truck without this i guess i forgot to plug it back in after putting my radiator in and the fan chopped it off.

yes. you can drive it..
but seriously just re-attached the chopped wires to a new plug. that sensor is cheap

yeah i had to by a new plug, 40 bucks. The new plug has two black wires idk which is neg or pos and the existing plug had white and white with red stripe idk which is pos or neg for those either

if you still have the old plug just look at what wire is what in relation to the release tab.
if not then its a 2 wire sensor and i don't think it even matters.
