So I'm redoing my tail gate this weekend. Does any have any cool ideas for a logo or something to put on it?
 
get an old 84-86 tailgate, cut the FORD lettering and weld it on your tailgate :rockon:
 
I am getting one of those auto wraps put on my tailgate this summer. It will have the American flag waving in the wind in the background and the beloved Bald Eagle flying across the foreground. I have been wanting to do this for almost a year now. It will cost about $120.00. I will leave them the tailgate for about a few hours. They clean it first (remove your decals and emblems) and then put it on and then you come back and get it..... I hope this is really looks good on the red Ranger. My buddy put one on his tan f150 and it looks so neat!!!! I am also getting the center of the hood blacked out and it will have a stencil cut out that says either 'Ford Racing' or just 'Ford'. Have not decided yet which one I like better. I will design it when I take it over to the Auto Wrap place near me this summer. I have seen so many cars and trucks with the body completly wraped it looks just like custom paint!!!

is the 87 tail gate the same thing? because i have a 87 sitting in my backyard
 
yeah i think the 87 had that lettering too.time to cut and weld lol
 
i think all 1st-2nd gen had tailgate letters like that, but those with the brushed metal tailgate panels have holes were the panel mounts on the other side, i like the brushed metal panels tho, altho there a pain to keep from getting dented cause u cant push it out without noticing were the dent was, heck i went to pick n pull just to get one of those panels

yeah thats one cool tailgate
the metal panel looks nice, but the letters fall off too :sad:
 
yeah I'm going to try and do it this weekend at my dads shop lol. I'll get some pics after
