I came across a nice set of 30x9.5x15's.. I guess the consensus is that my stock steel wheels are 15x6. By chance is anyone running the steel wheels with larger tires? I don't see why 9.5's wont work on the stockers.. (for now)

Anyone runnin' steelies with 30's?

only thing I can see is it wearing out the middle early/

yep im running the stock steelies with 31/10.5's and yea the middles with probably wear pretty quick...but i just have a cheap set of grabber at2's on there for city driving...gunna get some nastier mud tires on the bullet hole alloy's that i got later

i'm running 235/75/15 (which is very close in size to 30/9.5) and it looks pretty flat, it should be fine.

absolutley. im runnin 30-9.5-15 in the same wheels on my 96 ranger now.
they seem to wear evenly, just keep the preassure at around 30-34psi.

Yep, it's not a problem.

FYI, most 30's are rebadged 235/75/15s

31's can be stuck on some stock rims with very little problem if you get the tire pressure adjusted right.

For anything wider than a 10.50 you'll want a wider rim.
