I probably lost 1 1/2 mpg with a 3" suspension lift and a 2" body lift.

With a 4'' suspension lift, 33's, and 4.88 gears I get about 9.5-11 mpg out of my truck. The truck does have a stock 2.8 tho that needs to be floored and reved up to get/keep the vehicle going in these colorado mountains.

Well since you have the 3.0L and a 98 truck You have to go with a 3" body lift or a 4" suspension lift or some absurdly expensive custom one... Going to 32's from the factory 27's depending on the gearing you would probably see about 3-4 mpg drop if you didn't swap gears... I lost 1-2 with 31's and 3.73's if you have 4.10 it wouldn't be as bad...

You don't have springs in the front, you have T bars which can be cranked for cheap (only the price of an alignment afterwards).

Nope. Manual hubs replace the the usually non working vacuum hubs. You lock in the hubs which locks in the wheels but you still need to turn the 4x4 selector for the transfer case to engage.

o really i didnt know that because i have heard of replacing the torsion keys so that way you dont have to crank them down it just gives instant lift or i think thats how i remember it
