i plan on buying an 88 ranger within the next week or so with everything permitting and plan on doing about a 3 or 4 inch lift and 31-33 inch tires. i want to ditch the aluminum rims on it and go with the old school looking stamped steel rims. problem is im having a hard time finding them in at least a 7 inch rim with the right bolt pattern and backspacing. i want ones that look like these. i can find steel rims but ones like that would look the best for what i plan on doing.

Go to your dealership and order winter rims for a ranger...that is what you will get.

dont want to go with dealer pricing.

probably need an 8 inch rim though

How about the wheels from a Crown Vic cop car? IIRC they have the 5x4.5 bolt pattern, and since the 90s they have come in any thing from a 15" to a 17" or 18" currently used.
