My credo
WHY DO I KEEP BUYING DODGES?!?!?
It was so nice today I decided to go play in the mud (after all, one of my stated uses for my ranger is "occassional gravel pit blast"), so a friend and I went out to his family's gravel pit about 10 miles out of town. Aren't really any trails or anything in this neck of the woods so this is our playground. Did some shooting with the rifles as well.

My friend's 1998 3.0 stepside takes the lead

Looking out over the main pit. Over 30ft deep and stocked with enough fish to occupy you on those lazy days and clean enough for swimming as well:icon_thumby:

What it looks like in summer
A Day at the Pit

Nothing like a day off getting dirty and having fun!

once summer comes around, i'll have to show ya'll where i do my swimming hole jumps at. where i live, there's a lot of lime rock and there happens to be a mine just a mile away from my house so me and my buddies will al go swimming out in the old mining holes that are all dug and drilled out. crystal clear water and deeper than you can fathom. (<<<haha, play on words :))

Yea its great to go to. I live in town so its nice to have a place to go shooting and there's plenty of backstop - you're in a hole after all - for my old bolt actions and stuff
