Well I've debated on either taking my 89 2.9 and building it for low compression so I can supercharge or swapping in a 4.0l.. But I would like to know a little more about the swap.. What do I need for the Swap? Can I keep can wiring? Will my a4ld mate up with the 4.0l? And what about accessories like ac and alternator and power steering? Also do I need to move anything around like the airbox or Anything?

why not split the difference and s/c a 4.0? that would be a pretty bitchin little engine
 
O duh.. Yeah I just would need to swap in the 4.0 and that's wat I wanna know how to do
 
if u are planning a swap, u might as well drop in a 302 and c4
 
if you get a 4.0 just buy the whole vehicle and use all the wiring from the truck.....i think when i get my truck paid off and the engine starts to go i def want to look into a good rebuild with either turbo or supercharger....would be sweet.
