First off let me say hello to everyone. I've found this site to be a great wealth of information, which is great. I own a 1998 Mazda B2500 extra cab truck and the 60/40 seat is in need of replacement. I've been having a real tough time locating a seat at many of the salvage yards. I did a search on this forum under "60/40 bench seats" and found a lot of info on conversions and different generations of 60/40 seats and frankly I'm a bit confused Can someone tell me the years a 60/40 seat will fit in my 98'? I think it's 93' up to present year? I also believe extra cab seats will work? I've also heard that certain years of ford explorer seats can fit as well? I'm in Yuma right now and real close to Mexico and thought maybe of looking over there. I've searched the local salvage yards and nothing here. I've tried my best to answer this question on my own before posting. Please don't kill me if this is one of those " darn newbie posts".
