Hey guys. So the new engine has about 1500 km on it, and its been runing rich for about the last 50 of them. I pulled codes, and didnt get anything. Now, I now its runing rich because its a pig on gas, and if it idles for an extended amount of time it starts spitting out carbon all over the snow . Looks kinda funny, but its not good haha. Now, the engine is a 88' mustang gt
factory stang headers. The intake manafold and plunum are mystery items, but they were free during the original build so i used them. From whati know the intake manafolds are the same, but aparently the intake plenum is different. The only therory i can pull out of my ass is that then engine isnt getting enough air? The engine aslo has 8 new injectors, new wireing harness. New Engine temp sensor and intake air sensor. I figued it was good to put all new sensors on a new engine. anyone have any idea's we can bounce around to try and figure this out?

fuel pressure and or regulator. If the regulator is bad you will be able to tell by pulling the vaccum line and will see some traces of fuel. Could also be something with an O2 sensor. Those are my 2 brain farts that I can think of at the moment.

Shes Speed Density. I pulled off the plastic line going to the pressure regulator, it seamed dry. Im gonna track down a pressure regulator gauge on monday. It runs REALY rich during warm up. During warm up EEC isnt looking at the O2 sensors right?
