I was cleaning out the garage today and found a whole cb setup in one of the boxes. The radio is a Uniden PC-66, The antenna is a Wilson Lil' Wil, there was also a radioshack SWR meter and all the wires too hook it up. My dad says he's had the radio since the 80's lol.
Would it even be worth using the radio? I hooked it up and got it to recieve, but im not sure if it was transmitting well since i got no responses.

I'll get some pics of the stuff tomorrow after school. Any help is appreciated :D

double check your antenna ground making sure it is grounded to the frame. receiving range is usually better than the transmitting range. i'd put it in, tune it good, and use it. you'll know after a couple of weeks if it's getting the job done for you. at least you will already have the antenna, tuner, wiring, etc. done so just swapping in a new radio will be easy if it's needed. just my $.02.
