cranky senor is the reason my truck is misfiring, according to engine code. would appreciate it if someone could tell me where to find it. thk you, sb

Its down by the crank pulley. If you look down around the pulley there will be a little 2 wire plug there somewhere, that is your crank sensor.

will go digging for it tomorrow. thks much, sb

no prob bob.

Should be a toothed wheel attached to the back of the harmonic balancer that the pick-up gets it's reading from.
Dave

hmmm, if it's by the harmonic balancer does that mean it's accessible without removing belts and pulleys? thks again, steve

The trigger wheel isn't, but the sensor itself is. Unless you have freaking huge hands.
