Can anyone recomend a tire for my truck right now im running 235 85 R16 M+S. It would be for hauling boats, trail riding, mudding and, everyday driving.
Thanks
Mike

firestone destination a/t. good all around tire most guys here will approve on. many are running them on their trucks.

Edit: hmm, after checking tirerack.com they dont make a destination in that size. general makes a grabber at2 in that size, a few guys run those too and have seen mostly good reviews.

The 235/85/16 is an e load tire or 10 ply or something which is a really heavy duty tire... I don't know what kind of boat you haul or what you put in your bed but that seems a little excessive...

But if your sticking with it, BFG makes some good tires, I think its the Commercial T/A we have it on our f250 and they are pretty decent. almost no wear on them...

Or you could go to a set of 245/75/16's in either a C or D load rating and they will be lighter weight and still be able to handle anything you can stuff in the back, not to mention that is a common size and there would be alot of available tire designs.

im running around on Toyo Open Country MTs. badass mud tire and really quiet and smooth riding for such an aggressive tire

The only problem with the toyos is that they are stupid expensive and from what I have seen wear out fast. Although they are pretty nice. And come in a million different sizes except 15's
