Cool:icon_hornsup:
But you will regret whatever price you paid for that thing when either summer comes around (hot sun on a black hard hat is not a good thing!) or the plastic coating peels off of it and leaves you with just a plain ol' hard hat.

These are the only hard hats I can wear that do not give me a head ache by the end of the day.

Of course I pay about $70.00 every time I have to get a new one but oh well...

Has this anything to do with the village people? I need a nifty hard hat as well.......

Were only allowed to wear company logo white ones where I work. Those decorated and sports ones are not approved by our management. We won't even allow a contractor to come in with one. Those usualy are coverd by a shrink wrap plastic liner and if you hit it on anything it will tear off easy. OSHA recomends you never put stickers on hard hats as the glue attacks the plastic and can make it a weak point. Cool hat but don't bump your head or you'll ruin it.

Wow, stickers? Osha? No wonder our country is fuked. Pretty sick hat though, id mob the black one anyday, where did you get it at?

yeah but then what would be the point of getting a hard hat then... its ment to protect you from bumping...

I already got a hard hat... calld my head... I have hit it on more things then I care to mention and had lots of stuff fall on me... not fun...

Huh, I'd have figured you just wear the Stig helmet everywhere :icon_twisted:

... Silently stares at you... (... with backround music) :thefinger:

yes... stare into the black visor... feel it piercing your soul!!! (too weird?)

no yet... But I am totally going as him next halloween! :headbang:

I need one for school when we're at one of the building projects. There isn't any restrictions on hard hats and I hate my plain yellow 3m one. I was thinking about taking a white one into the fair next year and having the airbrushing guy put something on it. I might still do that.

Once I get done with college and I get hired somewhere I'll probably ditch the hardhat for professionalism purposes even if they don't have a "dress code." I'll still be able to use it in the quarry since MSHA say's I need one to be near the high wall. If you think OSHA is bad try dealing with MSHA.

---EDIT---

I just got an email from Northern Tool that the hard hat is out of stock. They should have taken it off their site or listed it as out of stock. Bastards.

Back when I was doing flooring I was on site building a dorm building for the local university and one of the guys had put 12" devil horns on his hard hat. It looked like a cross between a viking helmet and Hellboy. It was badass, the first few weeks he had it he kept knocking it off when he went through doorways.
