Why don't you put some 33's on it?

You need some 99-01ish SuperDuty rims. Nice pickup, but I'm not a big fan of those rims that make that weird "swoosh"...

3.31 gears, and I don't want the truck to get very tall. Makes it harder to get stuff in, get in and out of and get the trailer level. I like the handling and stance it has with these. The difference in sidewall between these and my 255's has a surprising difference in handling, I never knew how mushy it was.

I don't really wheel it, aside from a really nasty snowdrift it has gone wherever I wanted it to with the 255's.

I would prefer to have the 5 spoke cast aluminum 16's but after 3 years of searching I have yet to turn up a complete set that someone doesn't want a fortune for. Probably my biggest irk about these is they are not "correct" for an '02, but I think they look a lot better than what it had.

You had to go and make me a hypocrite didn't you?

Found these on a flyer at the Farm Progress show up in Omaha for $125/tire, should have them next week. TRS tire calculator says they are about a 32", and I don't know if that includes the tread or not (I doubt it) They are brand new overstock tires, never mounted. Their story is that shops bought them up for the Jeep Rubicon but people stayed with the MTR's, or went oversize so people didn't flock to them like they thought they would and now they are an obsolete tire (since the KM2's came out)

Yeah, I currently have no plans on swapping in 3/4 ton plus axles or running adapters.

Truck showed up today with my tires. Dad had ordered 2 for his service truck and my brother got 2 for his tractor, so it pretty much filled the bed of my Ranger.

The BFG's are a different tread pattern than shown, or that I am used to seeing for that matter. Dunno if they are like a KM1.5 or what... but I like the looks better than the normal KM.

Technically they are not dubs since they are not 20in or more but nice otherwise.

Vito
I was being semi-facisous, but thanks for the compliment.

what size tires are on the ranger?
235/75-15's, I hope to graduate it to at least 31"s with Explorer spings in the back and leveling springs in the front... after I get the 302 in it. The tires are in great shape now so I am not in a big hurry to replace them.
