It was windy yesterday.
But I don't think enough to blow out a liner at highway speeds.
I remembered seeing it in the bed when I left the bank.
Down the road aways, I looked over my shoulder and saw all silver.
so Idk what happened.

But now I'm defenatley ready for a tonneau cover.

Would would be the best brand for around $200.
One that the rails clip onto the bed rails.
and either a snapping one or a roll up.

Thanks for the help.

I have sportmaster and have had it on my truck for 7 years, its the snap kind i think my dad paid 250-300 for it, and its garunteed for life, i have taken it in twice for broken snaps but that was in the past year, they replace the snaps for free, i got mine at a place called Truckin' Thunder

My over the rail bedliner blew out on a gravel road, I had the slider window open at the time and heard the whoosh as it left and it slowed the truck down until it got up away from it. It probably got 20' off the ground judging from what I saw in the mirror, it floated over the other lane, over the ditch and a fence into a soybean field. It was quite a hike to retreive, now it is bolted down, and that was at about 40 mph.

Time for a spray-in bedliner. They're way better than drop-in liners IMO.

I'm trying to hide my rails lol.
A Maaco paint job didn't cover my "Express Bodywork"
that I did about 5 minutes prior to leaving to take it down there lol.
And the drop-in wore some paint off of the rails from constant rubbing.

That is where I am at with mine too, it wore the paint off the outside of the bed and it would stick out badly if it wasn't there. Also at some point someone had put the rails along the top of the bed on my truck, and all the holes (they must have had a heck of a time getting it to line up) are still there. Pretty much just the lesser or two evils.

If you get a spray-in liner, you can get the top of the bed rails sprayed too. I have an over-the rail spray-in liner and it looks great. Perfectly straight lines all the way down the bed rails and on top of the tailgate, extra protection when loading stuff into or out of the bed, and it covered it up the big ugly sctrach I had when I first got the truck. :headbang:

I already retraced them twice and didn't find it.
Way too late now.
I'm gonna go to the truck place and get a Extang cover soon.

Well now Im sure I wanna get the spray on bed liner:icon_rofl:. My other reason was that water gets under it and sits and you rust

My credo
If you can't go through it or around it, then go over it.
I have seen lots of them blow out. personally i wouldn't buy a drop in liner now that spray ins are reasonable priced.

www.lmctruck.com has some good rail covers you could buy...

All you need to solve the problem is a set of tie down hooks like these:

They'll lock the bedliner in securely and give you a place to hook your tie down straps.
