Well as the title says, I have a god awful squeak coming from my driver side front wheel well. It just started with in last 2/3 days for the second time but worse. The first time the squeak started to happen was when it first snowed pretty good in TN but after the snow melted and etc my truck stopped squeaking after a day or two. So that totally threw me off and now it snowed again and it started again but now the snow and everything is gone but my truck is permenatly squeaking, I must say you cant really pick up the college chicks driving around campus squeaking haha. :icon_cheers:

The only thing now is, everytime I hit a speed bump or the truck bounces a little bit even just pushing down on the left front with truck turned off it squeaks. Along with that my steering is squeaking too now and sounds as if in the exact same location and it aint coming from the power steering or engine bay for sure.

So I figure I probably have a bad ball joint or maybe something with my spring, even though my truck ISNT sagging or anything either.

Whats yall opinion, squeaking noise in left front wheel well coming from turning the wheel and when truck bounces, what would it be? spring, ball joint, bushing?? just wondering before I start tearing into stuff trying to fix it.

P.S. I know the snow thing probably has nothing to do with the issue, just felt like given back story haha....But if anybody wants I can try and get a video just so yall can hear the sound.

i would check the ball joints and shocks
IFS 2WD's tend to squeak a lot

Shocks, bushings, ball joints. Good things to check first.

My sway bar bushings squeak like crazy over bumps. I tried to buy replacements but Advance wouldn't sell them to me because they didn't think I knew what size sway bar I had and didn't want me to have to return them (I'm a girl, I can't POSSIBLY know these things, right? ) It actually got a little bit quieter with the cold weather so I'm ignoring it for now.

edit: My truck is an 03 2wd
