How to tell if it has keyless

My 98 shows keyless on the old window sticker, the prior owner didnt have the remotes and thinks it didnt have that option. Where is the keyless box/system located on our trucks where I can make sure I have this before I order a replacement remote?

the dealer can plug into your trucks computer and tell you if its equipped with remote keyless entry (they'll need to do this to program new key FOBS for you anyway).

You would have to add power locks as well, that is a vital part of the whole keyless entry theory.

To the OP, if you have a friend with a newer truck you can borrow their remote and see if you can program it to work in your truck, that is what I did with mine to see if I had it. The instructions are in the owners manual, I used my parents 2002 Explorer remote in my F-150 and it worked fine. If it works you will have to reprogram it back to their vehicle when you are done or it won't work for them.
